We’re hiring! We’re looking for one to two instructors for our biology courses for the 2024-2025 school year for our secondary program, Branches, which meets in Spencerport from 9 to 2:35 pm on Thursdays for 12 weeks in the fall and 12 weeks in the spring. The college level course meets on additional dates. Microscopes and supplies are provided.
For our dual enrollment for college credit course, the instructor must have a Master’s Degree in a biological subject or a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours of Biological Science in order to obtain approval from MCC. For the non dual enrollment courses we can consider someone without this specific credential.
The exact time is somewhat flexible as the dual enrollment course can take place at any point during the day and the DE instructor could teach only the dual enrollment class or teach additional biology classes.
Instruction is primarily lab based with readings, lab write ups and other homework done between classes. Grace is a worldview neutral organization and we will be focused on observational biology rather than topics such as the origins of life.
