CaSE Training

It is a policy of the Catholic Church to require all adults working with youth in their facilities to complete their online youth protection training and background check once every 3 years. For more information about the policies of the church click here.

This process is required ONLY for parents staying to volunteer at Branches. Please do not complete the training if you are dropping off at Branches or are involved in other programs. We use a different background check system for our other programs.

To meet these requirements you need to complete the following:

• Step 1: Safety Training. Click here and create an account. Complete the “Creating a Safe Environment Training.” It is VERY important when setting up your account that you choose St. John the Evangelist Spencerport as the parish you are volunteering at and you choose Volunteer as your primary position. There is tech support available online or by calling 585-312-0839.
• Step 2: Background Check. Click here. If you have any questions or need help with your background check please call the office at 585-352-5481 and ask for Kathy.
