How to Plan a Field Trip
To keep things moving smoothly, there are a few things you need to do.
- Please check the calendar by clicking here (must be logged in to view). While exceptions can be made, we discourage field trips that conflict with our primary programming (Monday afternoons on the east side, Wednesdays and Thursdays on the west side) or other field trips.
- Fill out this handy form. You will receive an email when your field trip is approved. If you request it, we can also create a sign up form for you to use.
FAQ:
- I want to set up X field trip and I don’t know if people will be interested. They are. People are always interested. Expect your field trip to fill up and need a second date. These are homeschoolers! They LOVE a good field trip.
- How does payment work? Our preference is to reimburse you (we will need a receipt to do this). If that doesn’t work for you, we can also write a check or call in a credit card. The field trip form will ask for payment method.
- How do I get the list for my field trip? Please contact us right before your field trip and we’ll send you a spreadsheet. You’ll also receive emails whenever people sign up.
