At Branches you have two options – you can stay and volunteer or drop off (3rd-12th grade).

If you’re looking for a community, cooperatives are an amazing way to form lasting relationships with like minded families all while working toward a common goal. While a lot of parents want to drop off, just as many want to stay to get to know other families and to form connections. If you’re staying with your student (available for all ages from newborn through 12th grade), then we ask you to lend a helping hand during your time with us.

For full days we ask that you:

  • Teach two classes OR
  • Aide three classes OR
  • Teach one class and aid two classes PLUS
  • Clean every other week (or opt out for a fee)

For half days we ask that you:

  • Teach one class and aid one class OR
  • Aid two classes PLUS
  • Clean every other week (or opt out for a fee), afternoons only.

You are not required to teach to volunteer at Branches. Excellent aides are just as important as excellent teachers!

We respectfully request that you miss no more than 2 weeks of program as we rely heavily on our volunteers to keep our program running smoothly.
