Absences (in more detail) and Withdrawing from programs

  • Please stay home if you are sick!
  • We depend on your presence though, so please make co-op a priority in your week.
  • If you must be absent, fill out this form. Teachers should identify a sub (usually your aid) and provide them with lesson plans.
  • Making up your absence. You’ll be assigned as a floating aid in the future, so please keep an eye out for your future make-up assignment. Thank you!!!

If you would like to withdraw from Branches, please fill out this form. Please note that you will not be guaranteed a spot in the future and would need to go through the application process again.

Drama Free Zone.

  • Remember the Thanksgiving Dinner Rule: don’t assume political affiliation, avoid political discussions during co-op.
  • Solution Based Feedback.  We’d love to hear your feedback if it’s construction and solution based!
  • It’s okay to not like other people’s kids.  They might not like yours either – please be kind!
  • Please do not post negative things about people on social media.

Things to bring.

  • Lunch. We’ll have one microwave available but we have lots of people! We will not have access to the fridge, so bring an ice pack if you need one.
  • Snacks. Animal crackers are provided for pre-school and kindergarten. If you’d like a different snack for your kids, or you have older kids who would like a snack, please be sure to pack it. If your child has allergies please speak to the teachers directly.
  • Items you’d like to give away for our free table. Please bring items in boxes labeled with your name. Please take home items no one has claimed at the end of the day.

Things we have.

  • We have standard school supplies such as pencils, paper, glue, markers, crayons, colored pencils, erasers, paper, art supplies, etc., though you are of course welcome to bring your own.
  • A copier, owned by Grace, is available for you to make copies of things you’ve printed off at home. Please print sparingly to keep co-op costs low.
  • Gym equipment we have available for using during gym classes.
  • We also have a microwave and electric tea pot for your use.
